Tackling the Issues
Homelessness is a pervasive and complex issue in USA
Despite the nation’s affluence, a significant portion of the population grapples with housing insecurity, with individuals & families finding themselves without a stable place to call home. Factors such as skyrocketing housing costs, insufficient mental health services, & a shortage of affordable housing contribute to the crisis.
Upcoming Programs
Fresh CORE initiative
We are working to provide showers for community members facing homelessness and are currently raising funds for portable shower facilities. Our aim is to identify suitable locations across the city for convenient service delivery, with information disseminated through our existing programs.
CORE Transition Home
This initiative serves as a nurturing home, guiding individuals on their path to independent living. The initial and pivotal focus is on reinstating their sense of identity, with participants typically benefiting from a comprehensive support system throughout their three to six months in the program.

About Rotary Club
Suitcases for Stability is CORE’s initiative to provide individuals experiencing homelessness with rolling suitcases as a safer, more dignified alternative to carrying or hiding their belongings in bags or carts. These suitcases offer secure storage,mobility, and a sense of ownership and stability during a time of uncertainty.
By meeting this practical need, we’re helping our unhoused neighbors protect what little they have — and move forward with confidence.
